Our Firm

Leslie H. Macleod & Associates provides a broad range of professional conflict resolution consulting services, which include conflict assessment, facilitation and mediation, teaching and training, workplace restoration, fact-finding and investigation, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) system design and evaluation.

The Firm was founded by Leslie H. Macleod, B.A., LL.B., LL.M. (ADR).  She is the President and Principal Consultant.  Leslie has more than 35 years of experience as a lawyer, mediator, and educator in conflict resolution; and as a senior executive in the Ontario Public Service and in Canadian industry.  She brings her professional dedication, diverse experience, fresh perspective, and insight to all assignments.

Leslie works closely with clients to ensure that client needs are recognized and addressed.  Many assignments are of a confidential nature and are conducted by Leslie with the utmost sensitivity to the needs of all parties. For some large-scale training programs and evaluations we retain additional professional and technical personnel that work under Leslie’s direction.

We serve diverse clients from across Canada and beyond including government departments, agencies, boards, and commissions; law firms and other professional services firms; commercial enterprises; hospitals and health care facilities; universities, colleges, and school boards; police services; professional and industry associations; unions and employee associations; and faith communities.  We work with individual, corporate, and governmental disputants and their Counsel or representatives.
